They always say we need to look up more while diving or we will miss something great. Thankfully I listened to that advice and was able to watch this gorgeous shark fly over me with her squad of remoras!!
If they can coexist, why can't we?! So many beautiful species beneath the surface live in harmony with one another and the way they interact is just beautiful to witness. We see so many species on every dive that take my breath away. I can't imagine a life without diving in it... the massive goliath grouper, the always elegant sharks soaring above us, and the mysterious morray eels popping out to say hello are just a few to name that we see every time. Side note on taking this photo… I actually almost missed seeing two gorgeous hammerheads cruise by because I spent so long setting up and waiting for this shot to unfold! Haha I heard someone yelling in excitement and finally looked up to see what was happening and gasped when I saw I almost missed them! Pictured is Braveheart, one of our favorite Goliaths who always hangs out - has a beautiful split face (one side is completely dark, one side is light. I will post another photo of him to show it another day). This eel has yet to be named but it is always there... any suggestions on names?
